Pablo Cornejo

Pablo Cornejo was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. He relocated to Seattle in 1998. Pablo's work has been presented work in Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, San Francisco, and Seattle, most notably at On the Boards and Bumbershoot. He has choreographed for Cornish College of the Arts, Velocity DanceCenter, d9 Dance Collective, Arizona State University, Glendale Community College, Dance Gallery and Belligham Repertory Theater. In December of 2007 He toured five cities in Ecuador in company of five notables dancers from Seattle . In 2008 his work was commissioned by Ecuatorain Nacional Dance Company and in 2009 he choreographed for the Ballet Ecuatoriano de Camara. Pablo danced with Lingo dancetheater, Danza Luz in (Venezuela), Retazos (Cuba), La Compania Ballet Novo (Ecuador) and La Compania Nacional de Danza (Ecuador).He currently teaches advanced and intermediate modern classes at Open Flight Studio, where he is a co-founding member.
